Guernsey Ports have gone out to tender to upgrade car parking infrastructure at the Airport, which could include a new e-commerce platform for bookings.
A spokesperson told Express that the States body is “currently reviewing ways to modernise our outdated parking infrastructure at Guernsey Airport.
“For example, that could involve updating the infrastructure to enable simpler payment options, online bookings and more. This work will prioritise the customer experience, ensuring each passenger’s journey through the airport is as smooth as possible.
“We have published an Invitation to Tender and will review the initial submissions at the end of the tender period.”
The tender went live earlier this week and runs until 2 February.
It seeks expressions of interest for software, information systems and IT services.
