Police are interested in any footage that may have captured the collision between a vehicle of that description and two cyclists at the L’Ancresse Common/Mont Cuet Road junction.
The incident is reported to have taken place at around 10:15 on Sunday morning, and led to the cyclists having to go to the hospital for treatment.
It was one of many incidents that took place on a busy Liberation Day weekend for the emergency services.
