The event is being held at Saumarez Park and will see various heats between donkeys and their jockeys.
There’ll be eight races and each race will have seven donkeys and their riders taking part.
The event will also include a meat draw, music and a beer tent. It’s organised by the Lions Club and money raised will be going to local causes.
The event starts at midday, with the first race at 13:00. Entrance is free and parking is £5.
