Police cordoned off nearby roads as the GFRS tackled the blaze, which completely gutted a boat.
Crew Commander Paul Bishop said: “We were called to a boat on fire, it’s a 21ft motor cruiser, it was being cut up for recycling and a stray spark caused it to ignite. We used two crew with breathing apparatus and a hose reel, and brought it under control very quickly. The boat is totally burnt out.”
