The Inaugural Matt Le Tissier Golf Day is being held on Friday 8 June at The Golf Club at St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort.
The event will be attended by ‘Le God’ himself who is known to be a keen golfer, as well as a vocal supporter of the Green Lions.
He will be joined on the course by ex-professional footballers Francis Benall and Gordon Watson. All three played for Southampton at varying times between 1987 and 2004.
There will be a day time golf tournament which includes a morning session with bacon roll, as well as an evening event at St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. The evening event will begin at 19:30 with speeches from the club’s special guests, before the winners of the golf tournament are announced.
The event will raise funds for the club and will also have a fundraiser for Ernie’s Angels.
