Rebecca Booth will take over as the Head of Arts Development at Guernsey Arts, succeeding Russ Fossey, and taking on what he said is “probably the best job in Guernsey”.

Ms Booth has been a member of the Guernsey Arts Board since 2018 and has experience in the finance sector, specifically in governance and sustainability.

She also currently chairs the Guernsey Investment Funds Association Marketing Development Committee and the Sustainable Finance Guernsey Council. 

Her experience includes voluntary positions with the Guernsey Literary Festival and CineGuernsey, holding positions of ‘Sponsorship Director’ and ‘Chair and Committee Member respectively. 

Stephen Ainsworth, Chair of the Guernsey Arts Board said she is perfect for the role.

“Rebecca brings exceptional experience and insight, alongside a deep commitment to the cultural life of the Bailiwick. We are delighted to welcome her into this role.”

Guernsey Arts has also announced that her predecessor, Russ Fossey, will be joining the board of Guernsey Arts as a Non-Executive Director.

He’s also accepted the role of Chair of the Grants Committee.
