If you’re looking to try something new in 2025, you’ve come to the right place!

Guernsey Folk Club is the place for all lovers of acoustic-based music in Guernsey; meeting in the Johnson Suite at Les Rocquettes Hotel from 7:30-10:30pm, usually on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

The club nights are usually an ‘open mic’ type night, with occasional special guest features. So far, the list of guests who have played includes Clive Gregson, Phil Beer, Ken Nicol, Dik Banovich, Mike Silver, Pete Frampton, Paul Downes, Tom Bliss and many more.

Iris and Dora Late Night Pottery Painting

Creative, social and fun for the whole family… Iris and Dora’s popular Pottery Painting evenings are back for 2025!

Taking place every Thursday from 5pm – 9pm, it’s the perfect way to enjoy an evening out with friends or family. Why not come along with a work colleague, or by yourself. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people! If you’re new to the Island or just want to get out more, come along and have some arty fun.

You can choose from our vast array of pre-fired pottery blanks and coloured glazes. Pieces are priced individually ranging from only £10 up to £56 for their larger pieces. You will have time to complete either one or two pieces depending upon the complexity of your design and we only charge per piece, there are no extra costs.

Your finished pieces will be dried, dipped in gloss glaze, dried again, then fired. They will be ready to collect after two weeks.
Iris and Dora’s social art evenings are relaxed and enjoyable, so expect laughter and fun.

You don’t need any skills or experience and we provide all equipment and materials. It’s about having a bit of you time!

Cake & Colour

Join the wonderful team at the Guille-Allès Library on Thursday 9 January, for cake, a chat, and mindful colouring.

Cake & Colour sessions take place monthly In the Hayward Room, from 6:30-8:30pm, or however long you would like to stay!

The sessions usually take place on the first Thursday of each month, however the first date of the new year will be on second Thursday of the month.

SOPM: Beginner and Improver Group Lessons

School of Popular Music have a few spaces available in their very popular Saturday group sessions. These sessions are perfect for beginner and improver players looking to play with others and get up on stage!

A range of workshops will take place each Saturday at their hub in Delancey, including: drums, guitar, vocals and piano.
