Guernsey Police are now asking anyone who may have seen what happened on that flight, or after it landed, to come forwards and speak to them.
The inbound flight was on the evening of Saturday 7 December – flight BE511 from LHR.
Police said an adult male had been “arrested in connection with [an] incident” after the flight landed. They did not give any more details, but he has since been released on bail while an investigation is carried out.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Guernsey Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed events either in flight or once the aircraft had landed at Guernsey Airport.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 57 Perriam or PC 76 Lewis at Guernsey Police Headquarters.”
