The co-founder of the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation has officially received an MBE for her services to neonatal care in Guernsey.

Jo Priaulx MBE and her family attended Windsor Castle this week so she could receive her honour from King Charles III.

She was named in the King’s Birthday Honours earlier this year.

The charity has supported over 1,300 families since it was founded in 2003

The ceremony came during World Prematurity Month, and an official day to mark the occasion will come on 17 November where the PPBF will call on islanders to dress in purple to raise awareness.
