One of Guernsey’s most-popular summer traditions returns tonight as Lé Viaër Marchi gets underway at Saumarez Park.
The much-loved evening market will see the park come alive with stalls offering artisan produce, handmade crafts and a range of local treats, giving visitors the opportunity to browse, sample and shop from island producers.
Organisers say the event is a celebration of Guernsey’s creativity, community and heritage, with a relaxed atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy on a summer evening.
Often described as the occasion that marks the start of the island’s summer season, Lé Viaër Marchi runs from 16:00 to 21:00 this evening at Saumarez Park.
Visitors are invited to drop in throughout the evening to enjoy local food, crafts and entertainment.
