Mark James Maher appeared in the Magistrate’s Court this week.
He is alleged to have imported 2,641 MDMA tablets, with a street value of between £50,000 and £80,000, on 6 January this year.
The case was deemed too serious to be heard by the Magistrate’s Court. Mr Maher is due to appear in the Royal Court on 30 October.
