Among the current 316 known active cases of covid-19 across Guernsey, are the twelve patients at the PEH.
They are all being cared for on Brock Ward and the majority of them are not displaying any covid-19 symptoms.
Masks and negative LFTs will be needed for visitors to any hospital ward, with these changes to remain in place for the time-being but under weekly review.
All staff will also wear face coverings and they will be provided at all hospital entrances if visitors do not have one.

LFTs are still available free of charge from the Guernsey Information Centre or Beau Sejour.
If your test is negative but you have symptoms linked with covid-19 you are asked to not attend the hospital or a care home irrespective of the LFT result.
People receiving care in the community are asked to notify their providers if they are symptomatic so that visits can be planned to protect other community patients and staff.
