Repointing works at Portelet and along Route de la Lague will start this week – and last until early next year.

Five parking spaces are being removed from the public parking area near the Kiosk for the duration of the project to give the workers more room.

The work is part of the ongoing coastal maintenance programme delivered by Environment & Infrastructure.

Improvements will be carried out on the inner and outer piers at Portelet, with the works at Route de la Lague taking place near the slipway.

Five parking spaces and two parallel spaces directly behind the Portelet kiosk will be suspended to enable works to be carried out.

Six parking spaces will also be suspended at Route de la Lague for similar reasons.

Parking suspensions start from Monday 1 September to allow the compounds to be set up, with maintenance beginning on Monday 8 September.

The States said the projects could be impacted by weather and tidal conditions.
