From there the entire procession will set off towards the Town seafront, featuring people in 1940s dress, old cars and military vehicles.
The cavalcade will come to a stop outside the Waitrose NAAFI Tea Tent by the bus terminus where it will remain for the rest of the day as a static display.

We are likely to see more old cars this year as, in celebration of its last five decades, the Guernsey Old Car Club has invited all members to take part rather than just those with pre-1945 vehicles.
The club is also holding a ‘Best Dressed Car’ competition, with the winner being announced in the NAAFI Tea Tent at 15:15.
