While the work is taking place, Guernsey Water has confirmed that the area can still be enjoyed from the west car park, using the alternative route which is illustrated below.

Phil Marquis, Income and Liaison Manager at Guernsey Water said: “We are currently undergoing seasonal repair work to the underside of the arches along the reservoir wall and therefore to ensure public safety, this and the adjacent east carpark is currently closed.”
“Although home to the Millennium Walk, St Saviours Reservoir primarily represents a vital water storage and treatment works for Guernsey Water and the island as a whole. St Saviours reservoir is the second largest raw water store on the island, and is capable of storing 1,039 million litres of water. Its ongoing maintenance is essential to ensure the continued collection and supply of water that is safe and good to drink.
“The repair work should be complete by the end of the day on Tuesday 30 October.”
