The States are still looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help out at polling stations next month.
The election team says “volunteers will play a vital role by providing general assistance to voters under the guidance of Polling Station Officers,” and that training is provided.
Polling station shifts are available from 07:30 to 20:30 each day, saying they don’t need to be consecutive or on the same day.
Also reiterating there is flexibility, the election team said “no experience is required as a briefing session will be provided”.

Election day is on Wednesday 18 June, but there will also be two advance polling days on Sunday 15 and Tuesday 17 June.
Jax Robin, who acted as a Polling Station Officer in the island’s first island-wide election, and who is volunteered again, said: “I would encourage people to volunteer as it’s a good way to show your commitment to our island and its future.”
Election volunteers must be 16 or older, and individuals standing as candidates in the election can’t help.
There are opportunities to help at a variety of polling stations across the island.
