Submissions for the Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition are now open!
Sponsored by Mourant for another year, the 2026 edition of the Bailiwick Wildlife Photography exhibition is the fifth time it has run, celebrating Guernsey’s biodiversity.
The competition opened this month, with winners announced on the exhibition opening night from the public vote and a guest judge.
Since its launch, entries to the competition have increased year-on-year, and it’s anticipated that this will be the most popular yet.
The exhibition will take place in early 2026, coinciding with the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery re-opening for the new season.
John Lewis, Managing Partner of the Mourant Guernsey office, said: “We’re excited to support the Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition for another year. Our sponsorship of the competition’s sustainability award closely aligns with our firm’s commitment to environmental sustainability, and to supporting initiatives that inspire people to protect and celebrate the natural world around us. We are incredibly fortunate that our island and the surrounding areas are teeming with so much wildlife that the exhibition consistently showcases such high-quality work, year after year. We look forward to seeing the entries!”
Louise Le Pelley, Partnership Development Executive at Guernsey Arts Commission, added: “Guernsey Arts is passionate about creating opportunities for local artists and photographers to share their talent. With the generous support of Mourant, the Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition, now in its fifth year, continues to showcase not only the beauty of our islands’ biodiversity but also the creativity and artistic expression that is present within our arts community. We are so grateful to Mourant for their continued support.”
