“We didn’t expect the band to be successful this quickly. In just a year we have performed at the Cobo Balcony gig and played to a sold-out audience at Beau Sejour,” said Ben Wratten.
“We had all played in bands before, but never together, so we were very pleased with how quickly everything has come together.
“Playing Cobo as our first gig was daunting, but we were pleased we pulled it off and got such amazing feedback from the audience.”
The sold-out Beau Sejour gig in February saw the addition of cannons, cheerleaders and bagpipes to the band’s performance.
“We are all passionate about making this a real stage show to bring something special for the audiences,” said Mr Wratten.
“We want to bring the energy and showmanship of AC/DC to Guernsey.

The Beau Sejour show was based on various AC/DC performances over the years, with the main inspiration being the River Plate show.
“We even invested in our own inflatable ten-foot tall “Rosie” stage prop, which was made for us by the same person who created the original “Rosie” for AC/DC.”
Back in Vraic will be performing at the local “F**K Cancer” fundraiser on 2 June.
“We will be closing the night following performances from Callum Aitken and Stoked. We’re pleased to be able to play and help raise money to go towards the cancer charity; it’s going to be a great night so people should make sure they get their tickets to support this important charity,” said Mr Wratten.

The band will also be headlining the Thursday night of the West Show.
“We were really excited to be asked to play the West Show; it’s such a staple in the Guernsey calendar and we can’t wait for it,” said Mr Wratten.
“We don’t want to give too much away, but we are planning to bring the full show and have some added surprises up our sleeves.”

Back in Vraic have their sights set on continued success, having just launched tickets for another Beau Sejour show on 24 February next year.
The band will be playing alongside Hotter than Hell, described as “Europe’s No.1 Kiss tribute show” and Guerns N Roses, the local Guns N Roses tribute act.
