Vraic has claimed another bragging right in a bumper first year for the Guernsey restaurant.
Led by celebrity chef Nathan Davies, the Chouet eatery has been open less than 12 months but has been receiving plaudit after plaudit already.
Vraic’s latest accolade is a placing in a national top 100 restaurant list.

The National Restaurant Awards placed Vraic at 45th on its list of the Top 100 eateries across the United Kingdom (despite the Channel Islands not being part of the UK… ), behind Scotland’s The Glenturret Lalique, and ahead of London-based Da Terra.
Vraic is the only restaurant in the Channel Islands to make the list, which has been organised by ‘Restaurant’ magazine.
“Being recognised in such a well known and respected guide is very special for the myself, and the team,” said Mr Davies.
“Placing so high even before we have completed our first year is a huge achievement for the team who have put in such a lot of work to build our special little restaurant here in Guernsey.
“Although it is important to take this all in and enjoy the moment and achievement, we will continue to push even harder than ever to continue the success and growth of the restaurant in the critical early years.
“I am extremely proud of the Vraic team for everything and know this is only the beginning of things to come!”

Vraic’s success inside its first year in business has also seen it receive Guernsey’s first Michelin Star in nearly two decades.
The restaurant also received a glowing recommendation from the Squaremeal guide.
Four other Guernsey restaurants are also featured in the Michelin Guide, with Alba also awarded a Bib Gourmand.
