Oliver Brock found the nesting bird on 1 May, when he went to ride his bike to work.

He had used it just a day previously so he was caught by surprise when he saw the Robin with an egg.

It was inside the front fairing of his 2017 Kawasaki Versus 650 SE, which he uses for daily travel around the island.

Rather than disturbing the bird and egg he decided to leave them in peace and find an alternative means of transport to and from work.

Intrigued by the nesting process, he said it was “obvious what had to be done”, so he set up a webcam to follow them without getting too close.

Those initial videos have now evolved into a livestream which can be watched via Mr Brock’s website corbeau.gg

Mr Brock thinks there are now four eggs incubating inside his motorbike.

The livestream is running for up to seven hours a day so there is a chance the hatching could be caught on camera.
