No one was injured, but the fire did cause “extensive” damage to the St. Lawrence home and two cars.
Firefighters were called to the property shortly before 18:00 on Sunday.
The fire was believed to have started in the engine compartment of one of the cars before spreading to other nearby items and another car.

Both vehicles suffered severe damage, while the house’s utility room and kitchen were also damaged by the heat and smoke.
Two fire engines carrying ‘Red Watch’ officers were first sent to the property, but another, which was crewed by on-call firefighters, was soon called in.
In total, 14 firefighters assisted in the two-and-a-half-hour operation, which also involved damping down, clearing smoke and cutting away areas of the garage ceiling to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
“Whilst the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, an initial investigation indicates that an electrical fault with one of the cars is the most probable cause,” Watch Commander Andy Gallie said.
