Reece Steven Kennedy (18) appeared in the Royal Court on Friday morning before the Bailiff, Timothy Le Cocq.
Represented by Advocate Katherine Ferbrache, Mr Kennedy denied both charges, which relate to an alleged incident last year.
A trial date has been scheduled to take place on 20 April 2022. Mr Kennedy will remain on bail until the trial.
