John Cameron Golder Taylor is accused of entering an unlocked house in St. Martin without permission on 20 February and committing a sexual act on a man while he slept.
The Magistrate, Bridget Shaw, declined jurisdiction and remanded Mr Taylor in custody until 7 April, when a hearing to send the case to the Royal Court will take place.
