- Signal-controlled crossings installed at the Miladi Parade Shops and the end of the footway from Clos Gosset
- Yellow box junctions created at Rue des Pres and Plat Douet Road
- Dropped kerbs and tactile paving added to Plat Douet Road and Clos Gosset
The work will begin at Clos Gosset, before moving towards Miladi Parade.
Kevin Lewis, St. Saviour Deputy and Minister for Infrastructure, warned that there will be “some disruption while this work takes place”, but added: “The short-term inconvenience is necessary for these developments, which will make a great difference to the community.”

Developed by a project board including Parish of St. Saviour officials, the Department for Infrastructure and other local representatives, the £0.3million proposals for what Deputy Lewis described as a “busy artery” were then put out to consultation where they were said to have received widespread community support.
A widened footway to create space for a new bus shelter and the installation of a signal-controlled pedestrian crossing are also planned for the bus layby near the Victor Hugo Wine Warehouse.
However, this work will not get underway until early 2019.
