In the Royal Court on Friday, Liam Michael Carmody, of Doncaster, Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted murder, committed in the rear car park of the Ambassadeur Hotel on St. Clement’s Coast Road on Thursday 24 March.
He also admitted possessing an offensive weapon, a knife.
Appearing via a videolink from HMP La Moye, Carmody was represented by Advocate Sarah Dale.
He will be sentenced by the Superior Number of the Royal Court on 9 August and was remanded in custody until that date.
The Bailiff, Timothy Le Cocq, was sitting with Jurats Jerry Ramsden and Kim Averty.
