Pre-loved presents

Islanders seeking to go greener this Christmas are invited to ‘Ophelia’s Jingle & Mingle Market’ this Sunday 30 November from 11:00 to 13:00 at Haute Vallée School.
Pre-loved clothes, books, toys, and more will be on sale to gift your loved ones, with festive treats and refreshments available.
All proceeds from the market will be donated to Caring Cooks.
Christmas Market

A Christmas market event is taking place on Sunday 30 November from 10:30 to 16:00 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in St Helier.
The event is free to attend, and no tickets are required.
Profits from the market will go to Teenage Cancer Trust and Essential Dance Jersey, which is aiming to fund local dancers to compete in the Dance World Cup in Dublin next year.
The market will feature small business stalls, live music, a children’s area, and Santa’s grotto.

Embrace Our Difference 2025

Embrace Our Difference 2025 is hosted by Connect Me in honour of International Day for Persons with Disabilities.
The event is taking place on Wednesday 3 December from 15:30 to 18:30 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in St Helier.
Entry is free and no tickets are required to attend the main event, but spaces for talks are limited and should be booked in advance.

Santa Dash

Jersey Hospice Care’s annual Santa Dash fundraiser is back for another year, and will take place on Thursday 4 December.
Warm up will take place from 12:00 at Liberty Wharf.
Dashers should dress up in their best Santa outfits.

Barbed Wire and Teddy Bears

The JCG Youth Theatre will be marking the 80th anniversary of Jersey’s liberation by staging an Occupation-themed play.
Barbed Wire and Teddy Bears was written by Karen Forbes, a local writer and former Head of English at the school.
Performances run from Tuesday 2 to Friday 5 December starting at 19:30 each night, in the JCG hall.
Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for students and concessions, and free to children of the Occupation.

A fundraiser is due to take place in aid of those impacted by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
WAH GWAN JERSEY! will take place on Friday 28 November at Biere Atelier.

Memory Garden

Islanders wanting to remember their loved ones this Christmas are invited to Maillard’s Memory Garden next week.
Members of the public are invited to write a memory or message for someone they have lost and place it on one of the remembrance trees for a minimum £2 donation supporting local charity Philip’s Footprints.
The event will take place at The Nest on Bath Street, where the empty shop will be transformed into a winter garden with refreshments.
The Memory Garden is open from 2 to 7 December from 9:00 to 18:00 each day.
There is also a special remembrance evening on Thursday 4 December from 18:00, offering a quiet moment to reflect.
