This week’s find was a t-shirt signed by the one and only Björn Borg found in Acorn’s Reuse Centre in Trinity.
Swedish former professional tennis player, Borg was ranked world number one for men’s singles in 1979-80.

During his career, he won eleven major titles, six at the French Open and five consecutively at Wimbledon.
The frame says the shirt’s signature was authenticated in 2008 as a result of a visit to Shanghai by Scott Clayton, who sits among Jersey sporting royalty as a former pro player and the founder of Island Padel.
“One for the tennis fans. There must be a great story behind this signed Björn Borg shirt!” Fiona said.

Local tennis fans can pick up Fiona’s find for £40 from Acorn’s Trinity re-use warehouse.
