This week, dozens of St Brelade-specific posters have appeared in the parish, calling on voters to cross ‘None of the Above’ – a new option this election for uncontested seats.
They add: “Let’s stop unelected officials making our decisions”.
It is unknown who has put up them up on lampposts and railings around St. Brelade.

Mr Jackson said: “It’s regrettable that there are those who feel the need to hide behind a veil of secrecy.
“It would have made more sense if they’d simply stood for election – like I did!”
He added: “I have absolutely no idea what is driving this particular campaign but it is inevitable that with the Connetable’s role being, to a degree, regulatory there will be some disaffected by decisions made.”
Mr Jackson is one of eight Constables facing uncontested elections on Wednesday.
