Although the service did not launch locally at the same time, Disney confirmed to Express that Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents will be able to enjoy it from 2 April.

It has promised to give people access to Disney-exclusive programmes like High School Musical, while subscribers will also get access to various other titles owned by Disney, including Marvel, Pixar, Fox, National Geographic and Star Wars.
In the UK, the service costs £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year, with a free week trial after signing up.
Once it has launched in the islands, the service can be accessed via the Disney Plus website or app.
