Emergency services responded to road collisions in St Mary, Grouville, and St Peter’s Valley this weekend.

A car was flipped onto its roof on Saturday afternoon following an incident on La Route de St Marie, between St Mary’s Church and Le Clos de L’Arsenal.

Jersey Fire and Rescue said that a man, who was removed from the vehicle by firefighters, had sustained “minor injuries”.

On Sunday, a biker was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car at Longbeach in Grouville.

The man suffered leg injuries, but they were not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Emergency services also responded to a collision in St Peter’s Valley, in the area of Mont Fallu, on the same day.

Islanders were advised to avoid both areas but roads later re-opened.
