Islanders might have noticed actors and camera crews popping up at various locations across Jersey – as filming for series two of the new Bergerac continues.

Commissioned by BBC-owned broadcaster UKTV, the first season of the long-anticipated reboot offering a “contemporary twist” on the original detective drama by Robert Banks Stewart launched in February on U and U&DRAMA.

Plans for a second run were confirmed earlier this year after it drew a strong viewership alongside success with international sales.

Executive producer Brian Constantine has said that Jersey itself “has always been one of the stars of the series”.

But where is filming taking place?

Here are some of the locations we know have been used so far:

  • St Brelade’s Bay
  • Gorey
  • The Lido at Havre des Pas
  • The Old Court House in St Aubin
  • Grosnez
