New images providing a glimpse into series two of the new Bergerac – and showcasing some of the Jersey filming locations – have been released by UKTV, as the BBC-owned broadcaster today revealed some of the new additions to the cast…

The first series of the long-anticipated reboot, offering a “contemporary twist” on the popular 80s detective drama created by Robert Banks Stewart, launched in February on U and U&DRAMA.

Filming for the second series, which is expected to air in early 2026, concluded last month.

So who is back? And who is new?

Damien Molony returns in the lead role of Jim Bergerac and is joined once again by Zoë Wanamaker as Charlie Hungerford, Robert Gilbert as Barney Crozier and Chloé Sweetlove as Kim Bergerac.

But the new series will also see Adrian Edmondson as Nigel, a new presence in Charlie’s life, as well as Lesley Sharp as Monica, mother to Michael played by Turlough Convery and Nicola played by Camilla Beeput.
