Islanders came out in their masses yesterday evening to watch what was billed as a once-in-a-lifetime partial solar eclipse, with the moon covering over 94% of the sun when viewed from Jersey.
Here’s how some of our readers experienced the night…
Crowds gathered in the west of the Island and at seaside spots, with some arriving after lunch to set up.
The show took around two hours, with the the peak of the eclipse shortly after 7pm and sunset vibes all evening.
