This morning, hundreds of islanders gathered to commemorate Remembrance Sunday and honour those who served in World Wars and other conflicts.

The service was held at the Cenotaph in St Helier and saw wreaths laid out by local officials and veterans who paid their respects to their fallen comrades.

The Lieutenant-Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Jerry Kyd KBE, the Bailiff, Robert MacRae and Chief Minister, Lyndon Farnham were among those in attendance.
