I can’t go… can I watch the Air Display elsewhere?

A livestream can be viewed on Planes TV’s YouTube channel below:

Can I use my drone to snap the display?

The Director of Civil Aviation has established a Restricted Airspace over the island, between 12:45  and 17:00 on Wednesday and Thursday.

During these times, the operation of any aircraft (including drones, model planes, hang gliders, and paragliders) is prohibited without Air Traffic Control permission.

What if I want to watch from my boat?

Boat owners who head out to sea to watch the display are required to remain outside of the controlled area – marked with buoys and listed HERE

The exclusion zone runs from the north of Elizabeth Harbour to St Aubin’s Fort, including the area around Elizabeth Castle and St Aubin’s Harbour.

There is to be no navigation or anchoring in the exclusion zone, including all personal watercraft, such as Jet Skis and stand up paddle boards. There is more information on the Jersey Coastguard website.

The beach in St Aubin’s Bay between the western wall of Elizabeth Marina and the southern wall of St Aubin’s Harbour will be closed between 12:00 and 17:00 tomorrow.

…And if I need the toilet?

Organisers have reassured islanders that there will be plenty of portable toilets throughout the Lower Park and St Aubin’s Bay arena.
