Headway Jersey has secured £15,000 per year in funding to support its essential door-to-door bus service.
The charity’s new partnership with the Ocorian Charitable Trust will run from 2026 to 2028.
It will directly fund the ongoing operation of the bus service, which provides safe and reliable transport for people living with brain injuries to access Headway Jersey’s centre, therapies, activities, and support services.

The charity said the service plays a crucial role in reducing isolation among its members and ensuring they remain able to engage with vital rehabilitation and community support.
Headway Jersey chief executive Lisa Perkins said: “We are thrilled to welcome Ocorian as an official partner, and we are deeply grateful for their confidence in our work and mission.”
Ocorian managing director Brendan Dowling added: “We’re proud to partner with Headway Jersey and help keep its door-to-door bus service running.
“Supporting organisations that make a tangible difference for islanders is an important part of how the Ocorian Charitable Trust contributes locally.”
