Young dancers aged nine to 14 are being offered the opportunity to perform at the Opera House alongside experienced performers as part of Jersey’s first professional pantomime.

The production of Jack and the Beanstalk is due to run from Friday 18 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027.

It is being put on by UK company Evolution Productions, which is a five-time Pantomime of the Year winner at the UK Pantomime Awards.

Young islanders are invited to audition for the juvenile dance ensemble at the Jersey Opera House on Monday 15 June, with registration opening from 4.30pm.

Applicants must be under 5ft tall, and aged between nine and 14 (inclusive) on 3 January 2027.

“This is a unique opportunity for young performers to take part in a large-scale professional production, working alongside an experienced creative team and gaining invaluable stage experience,” the Opera House said.

Opportunities are also available for technicians, stagehands, dressers and wardrobe assistants. Those interested are encouraged to get in touch by emailing admin@jerseyoperahouse.co.uk.

Professional adult performers are also invited to submit their details by sending their Spotlight link, professional CV, or agent details to casting@evolution-productions.co.uk.
