Tattoo Fest

If you’ve been undecided about getting some new ink, this weekend may change that. Get the chance to witness multiple international professionals perform live tattoos and piercings at the Grand Hotel this Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September in Jersey’s first ever tattoo convention.
Sponsored by USA vegan tattoo ink company World Famous Tattoo Ink, doors open at 10:00 until 23:00 on both days with live music and local art will also on display.
A kids zone and an 18+ afterparty have are also planned for the event. More information can be found HERE.
Bowl Ā Crock
Coming to Les Quennevais Skatepark this Saturday 21 September is a new carnival of skate culture, welcoming local and national stars.
Facilitated by Skate Space and Skateboard Jersey, witness WCMX champions, local skaters, artists and DJs create an “old-school jam style” family-friendly event.
Open from 12:00 – 20:00, it is free to attend and participation is recommended.
Jersey Festival of Words
Acclamied authors, performers and journalists join this year’s literary festival line-up incluing children’s writer Michael Rosen and Sam Mcalister who was behind the notorious 2019 Prince Andrew interview on BBC Newsnight.

Strive Yoga

Local yogi Rebecca Taylor is offering a yoga and sound bath session at Strive on Sunday 22 September.
For those who want to relax after a busy weekend, the session is being held between 16:00 and 18:00 and all levels of experience are welcome.
Summer Splash Party

Vanguard is presenting London’s up-and-coming underground dance act 4am Kru this Saturday 21 September in a night of live music by the sea.
After receiving high acclaim at Boomtown last year, they featured in some of the summer’s biggest events like Glastonbury and Reading festival. A host of acts will build-up to the main event from 22:00 until 04:00. More information can be found HERE.
ARCADE live performance

Record-breaking dance theatre company Casson & Friends are making their Jersey debut with two public interactive performances this Saturday 21 September at low tide along St Ouen’s Bay in front of Le Don Hilton (the white house).
ARCADE, which was organised by ArtHouse Jersey, will be performed from 14:30 or 16:00. No booking is required.
Also starting this weekend is ArtHouse’s “moving” statistical exhibition ‘Of All the People in the World’ at Capital House, which runs until Sunday 6 October.
