A 316-seat catamaran that will be used to provide a new inter-island ferry service is due to arrive in local waters later this month.
Islands Unlimited – led by former Guernsey Harbour Master Chad Murray – is set to use San Pawl on daily sailings between Guernsey and Jersey from 30 May.

In an update, Mr Murray said that the high-speed vessel had been safely loaded onto a carrier ship and is now making its way from Malta to the Channel Islands.
San Pawl is due to arrive in St Peter Port on 17 May.
“There will be a lot of preparation over the days running up to going into service on the 30th,” Mr Murray told Express.
He continued: “We are obviously delighted that the schedule is on track and our plans are starting to come to fruition.”
Before the service is launched, the vessel will be subject to further crew training and familiarisation drills as well as manoeuvring and berthing trials, among other preparations.
“It will be flat out from the day she arrives,” Mr Murray said.
