The whole area was highlighted in the Harbour Master Plan as a possible multi-use development, but no firm plans have been revealed yet.
Many islanders will have fond memories of the pub, which has been closed since 2004.
At the end of last year, Ports allowed Richard Bitot – who spent his childhood years at La Folie Inn – the opportunity to revisit the site.

At the time, possible uses for the area were still being considered following a public consultation that closed over the summer.
But in May, it was announced that the land at La Folie – including the former pub – would be open to redevelopment propositions.
Organisations with experience in the development and management of visitor accommodation and hospitality venues were asked to get in touch.

Ports’ CEO Matt Thomas described the site as “ripe for sensitive development that keeps in mind its rich maritime and social history”.
In an update provided to Express this morning, a Ports spokesperson said: “We have been pleased with the levels of interest in the market engagement exercise.”
Islanders’ have previously taken to social media to share their hopes for the La Folie site, with concepts ranging from a live music venue to a sea-themed restaurant and even a drive-through McDonalds.
A Ports spokesperson added: “We are still reviewing the feedback.”
