The friendly with small but mighty Stevenage, who once stopped Alan Shearer’s Newcastle United in their tracks with a draw in a surprising FA cup first-leg tie, will be Bulls’ first big challenge on home soil.

Ian Horswell, the Director of Jersey Bulls said the team were looking forward to it.
“The Jersey Bulls are extremely grateful to Stevenage for making the trip to Jersey and being the clubs first ever opposition for their first match. We welcome Stevenage to our small island and hope to emulate their success in the years to come.
“We’ve been working tirelessly for the last 19 months to give the Jersey Bulls the best possible chance of success and are very excited that the time has now come to walk out on the pitch on Saturday.”
Tickets for today’s match can be bought online for £6.
