The popular ice rink will return to the Weighbridge next month for its fourth consecutive winter season.
The Jersey Development Company has confirmed that Jersey on Ice will open on Saturday 24 October, coinciding with the start of the October half-term, and run until Sunday 10 January 2027.
The 30m by 30m rink attracted more than 22,000 visitors last winter, according to JDC.
It also hosted free skating sessions for 1,238 primary school children during 2025, while 61 care home residents were able to take part from their wheelchairs.
This year’s rink will have more space for recreational skating, with the curling facility removed and a dedicated children’s party zone will also be introduced.
JDC chief executive Lee Henry said the rink had become a “valued community attraction” during the festive season.
He added that primary schools would again be invited to bring pupils for free skating sessions during term time.
“This year, the rink will feel larger, as we’ve removed the curling facility to create additional space for recreational skating,” he said.
“To further enhance the visitor experience, there will also be a dedicated children’s party zone.”
The rink will operate daily during the October half-term, from 24 October to 1 November, and throughout the Christmas holidays from 19 December to 3 January.
During term time, it will open from Wednesday to Sunday, including the final week before closing on 10 January.
The rink will be closed on Christmas Day, with limited opening hours on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
JDC is also continuing its support for the Jersey Stingrays Ice Hockey team and the Junior Stingrays programme.
The junior programme caters for children aged between five and 15 and reached full capacity last year.
JDC said it wanted to build on that growth by helping more young people get involved in ice hockey.
Michelle Le Blond, branch manager at Butterfield Bank Jersey, which is supporting the rink this year, said the attraction is “fantastic seasonal attraction that brings people together “.
She said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Jersey on Ice once again this year. We’re proud to continue our partnership with JDC and to support initiatives that contribute to island life and create opportunities for everyone to enjoy.”
The rink is being organised and funded entirely by JDC as part of its placemaking and community investment programme.
Seymour Hotels will manage the day-to-day operation.
Bookings are now open online, with details available through JDC’s website and the Jersey on Ice app for iOS and Android.
