A man who described himself as ‘The Accredited Dealer’ and was caught cooking crack cocaine when officers burst in to raid his flat will have to repay back the money made through his crimes.
Robert John Ingram Moon (48) was jailed for four years and six months last month after pleading guilty to nine offences, including supplying cocaine and cannabis, possessing cocaine with intent to supply, money laundering and possessing several controlled drugs.
A confiscation hearing took place in Jersey’s Royal Court on Friday.
It was heard that Moon had benefited from £46,617 through his commercial drug operation, and that £2,490 had been recovered.
He will now have to repay more than £40,000.
The former Bailiff, Commissioner Sir Timothy Le Cocq, was presiding, sitting with Jurats Cornish and Le Heuzé. Advocate Carla Carvalho was prosecuting.
