J2A founder Ricky Weir said: “This special edition football, produced for a unique match in Jersey football history, offers local people the opportunity to own a memento of the occasion and to help J2A in its mission to support young people in deprived areas of Africa through football.”
The balls, that are all individually numbered and are made like they used to be before mass machine production came to the fore, have been sponsored by Standard Bank. They cost £45 each and all the proceeds will go to J2A.

Equally, we are proud of our African roots so when we were given the opportunity to support a local African-focused charity, it was a perfect fit.”
