A man has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting four women in one morning.

Police are appealing for information concerning the series of alleged sexual assaults, which took place on Sunday 30 November between 6am and 7:20am across St Helier.

Four female victims were allegedly assaulted by one male, who was arrested at 7:31am following a 999 call.

Officers confirmed that the man remains in custody.

Police want to speak to a female who was walking past the Co-op near the Arts Centre in Phillips Street just after 7am.

The force said she was approached by the suspect outside the Entertainer on Minden Place and walked past Bean Around The World on Burrard Street, before the man ran off at the junction of New Street.

The woman had dark hair and was wearing black trousers, a black jacket and white trainers.

Police are also appealing for any potential further victims who may have been approached or assaulted by the suspect.
