A man suffered a serious eye injury during an alleged assault at the Havre des Pas Festival on Saturday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at around 9.34pm outside the dance tent on Havre des Pas beach.
The injured man was treated at the scene before being taken to Jersey General Hospital, where he remains under medical care.
Officers are particularly keen to identify one man described as a broad white male, believed to be in his early to mid-20s, with short red hair in a buzz-cut style.
Police believe he was with a larger group of men at the time of the incident.
The force is asking anyone who saw the assault, witnessed the events leading up to it, or captured images or video in the area around the dance tent at the relevant time to come forward.
