A westbound section of Victoria Avenue has been closed following a road traffic collision.
Police said emergency services were dealing with the incident in St Lawrence, near The Kiosk.
The westbound carriageway has been closed while officers respond to the collision, with diversions in place via Rue du Galet and Rue du Nord.
A photograph from the scene shows a car overturned on its roof in the middle of the road.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
Police said they would provide further updates as more information becomes available.
