Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a car in St Helier before the driver left the scene.
The collision happened shortly before 10am on 20 May at the junction of Cannon Street and The Parade.
According to police, a pedestrian was crossing Cannon Street towards The Parade Public House and Parade Road when a small black vehicle – possibly a Ford Fiesta – moved off from a yellow line and turned into Cannon Street.
The vehicle is said to have collided with the pedestrian at low speed, causing “minor injuries”.
Police said the driver, described as a woman, stopped and spoke briefly with the pedestrian before leaving the area.

Officers are now keen to trace the driver of the black vehicle and are also asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area between 9:45am and 10am, to come forward.
