A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being involved in an alleged hit-and-run outside the Government’s headquarters today.
The incident took place just before midday on Friday 21 November at the junction of Union Street and The Parade.
It allegedly involved a white transit style van, which was said to have hit a pedestrian.
Police said the driver of the van failed to stop and provide their details.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries sustained in the collision, including a suspected fracture.
The force would like to speak with anyone who may have seen this or who has any information concerning this incident.
