A newly revamped play area with different spaces for children of different ages has opened at Parade Gardens – just in time for the Easter holidays.

The updated playground has been designed to be inclusive.

One part caters two children up to the age of six, and the other for those aged seven and above.

“While we have planned a formal opening of our new parks in early May, I am delighted that our new play spaces are available for children and young people to enjoy ahead of schedule and for the remainder of the Easter break,” St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft said.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped on this project, both inside and outside the parish.

“Especially, I’d like to pay tribute to our dedicated parish team for their work delivering these exciting new play spaces in St Helier.”
